Puzzle glue is a must for me. I now have thousands of pieces of puzzles I have assembled mounted to my garage walls and thousands of pieces in my basement that have all been glued together. I have puzzles in my home that I have framed and hung on the wall for decoration. I also have a stack waiting to be mounted so as you might imagine I buy a lot of glue. From a business prospective, I’ve been thinking that I should have my own line of puzzles and glue and that’s exactly what I plan to do, very soon. I like the way puzzles look, I like the way the pieces feel in my hand and I like looking at the completed work when I am done. I like all puzzles but I love the colorful ones. I have several brands of jigsaw puzzles and will be thrilled to see my brand added to the greats.
As far as puzzle glue? I have used several different glues. I find that the glues that come with brushes inside work best for me as opposed to the ones that are spread on with the scalpel.
Puzzle glue is pretty easy to use. I have special boards that I use for all assembling and when I’m done I use the same board to glue the puzzle. You have to be careful, while you are using the glue. It can get messy when gluing larger puzzles. The glue is applied directly onto the surface (picture side up) of the puzzle and dries clear. It’s not necessary to use large amounts of glue. Leave the puzzle for a day and it is then ready to be removed from the board. Now that the puzzle is dry you can mount it, frame it, or just save it anyway you like. You now have a beautiful piece of artwork.
